i’m pretty new at this sending package….if i was gonn send it as regular mail, how many stamps would i put on, it’s a light jewelry box. I still dunnno how stamps work.
will they give u boxes in United States Postal Service so i can send this jewelry

Bombay Co. now has a similar item, but inside there is no protection for the photos. The original ones I saw were made of wood, then when the lid was opened you would lift a wooden slat that held plastic sleeves for your photos.
The entire box might hold 300 or more photos.

This morning I discovered my mother’s jewelry box has been stolen from my bedroom…at first I thought my son took it and then lied to me, so I tore his room apart. Finally I called the police and because it is burglary the Sheriff came and took the report. I told him that while I was waiting I spoke with my brother and he suggested I look around some pawn shops in the area. I offered the Sheriff my sketches I had been drawing since this morning, and also offered a list of the items I am fully knowing were in there. He declined both. What do I do now? Are pawn shops obligated to turn over items that are in a suspected case of burglary? Who do they turn them over to? If I discover something in a pawn shop do I tell the shop keeper or call the police? Anyone have any thoughts on where I go from here? Tomorrow is Monday and I plan on being on the search for most of the day…near as I can tell it has been gone for about 3-4 days.

I have gift boxes, but i’m looking for just the cotton inserts you put in the boxes, to “pad” the jewelry – preferably a popular chain store, so I won’t have to order this online.

I purchased an old machinist chest a couple months ago. I’m refinishing to make it a jewelry box. I got some black velvet peel and stick material from my mother in law, but she’s not sure where it came from. The material is supposed to aid in polishing, but mainly I need it to cover the bottoms of each drawer. I’ve been looking online, but can’t find anything but pre-made trays.
That self adhesive velvet is exactly what I’m looking for! However, it would be nice to find it at a lower cost. I’d need at least 4 of those sheets, and I’ve already put a lot of money into this project.

I need an idea for a place to keep my jewelry. I have a lot of chunky necklaces and bracelets and traditional jewelry boxes don’t work. Anyone else have this problem? Is there anything that can be used for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc?
I am not creative enough to make one, nor do I have the time — wish I did though.

I am (hopefully) opening a website that will sell low-mid range jewelry ($30-80 range) and I was wondering what kind of options I have with regards to shipping it out in a cost effective and EASY way.

Can I get special boxes that fit the jewelry box and work out a good price with UPS/fedex etc. for bulk shipping?

Who do I contact? Any advice?

p.s. I hope to use a yahoo store, do any of these integrate well to automate part of the process?

On the Zales Jewelry commercial – the past, present, future diamond collection (features the guy who shows everyone a piece of jewelry in a box that he’s going to give to his girlfriend/spouse)- there is an instrumental (piano) version of a past hit song that I can’t put my finger on. It was sung by a female. Help!
