well…it says Tiffany’s on it…which (sad as it is) elevates your coolness by about 5%.
I have a Tiffany necklace…people comment on it a lot. It’s very nice. It does give my neck a rash though.
But I still like it.
Tiffany is a brand of a very large corporation in the business, so you pay for advertising, marketing, sales, stores, … I dont see any recent Tiffany piece as an investment at all, especially since they use high mark-ups to cover their costs. Vintage pieces are a whole different story of course, but I presume you are not looking for a Sotheby’s level piece.
Maybe it is time to visit your local jeweller …
um, yes. because you WANT the tiffany’s jewelry. you want the box…. why? so you can have people come into your room and see that you own something from tiffanys??? seriously the box is what your buying tiffanys for?? congradulations, your so chic! owning designer boxes.
