  the holes i think r 4 putting ur earings in or 2 organize ur jewelry. u kno how ur jewlry comes in that type of stufff i think thats wat its supposed 2 be.

  I believe it’s a separation pad. I think it keeps your fine silver chains away from air and moisture. Those little flaps are the handles.

  Just a guess though.

  ok well…i have the same on ein my jewelry box.. it’s probably holds a necklace or something.. but it’s nothing new…………and if u think about it, it doesnt matter wat it is for i mean as long as u can find something that it holds or helps or sumthing then just use it
