jewelry box

I had an engagement ring custom made & that place gave me a cheap looking ugly ring box. I have stopped by jewelry stores in the Houston galleria & asked if they could sell me just a plain & simple ring box, but none of them would without a purchase.

Where can I buy a ring box without ordering online? I need one by Friday… a decent looking one (like a black velvet or leather one)

I would say it will be hard to find one without purchase. Be creative and make her one. Make it for HER, so she will like it. Decorate it with colors, or something she likes. She will probably really appreciate it.
She really is not going to care what the box looks like.

I would think online? But you may not get it by Friday.

That’s really stupid that nobody would give you one. Customer service sucks anymore! Ordering online seemsl like your best chance now. There are quite a few auctions on Ebay that have single ring boxes…..you may have to communicate with the sellers to get rush shipping.

i was going to say ebay but that will take longer to arrive.
i would say make one yourself…or put inside a rose.

I actually have several, but I’m not sure if I could get it to Texas by Friday (I live in NC). Ask your friends (girls) they probably have a few especially if they are over the age of 35. Good Luck!

If you have a chocolatier in your area, you could have them make you a chocolate box, beautifully decorated–or, you could put the ring inside a box of Godiva chocolates–their boxes are very nice.

Contact a bridal shop to see if they have small velvet pouches, or call a place like “Things Remembered”. They have all sorts of engraveable items, perhaps they would have a silverplated box that you could have monogrammed.

Or, check with shops that carry fine crystal. I have two cut glass crystal boxes by Waterford that are beautiful. I collect porcelain boxes and have a number of them that would be perfect for a ring. They are hinged, come in all sorts of styles and one is even in the shape of a wedding bell.

I’m having the same problem! I went to at least 7 different places and all the one that the stores have include their logo or stupid name across it. I was so surprised how hard it was to find a simple black ring box. I can’t believe brick and mortar stores dont’ sell them. I’m so pissed.
